Creative Tuesdays: A Flower

I sort of want it to make it the rose from Beauty and the Beast but I don't know about it now since it's not really a rose. It's more of a make-up flower but I sort of like it.

For this week's Creative Tuesdays' Flower.  For more CT participants, go here.

  2. Sort of like it? I love it! Wonderful interpretation and I can only imagine how hard it was for you to stick to one object. Refreshing I hope in its difference. :) I really enjoy the beads of sorts going along the petals in particular. Thank you so much!

    1. thank you for your kind words. actually, I really would like to redo it as a rose, perhaps for the flower bouquet theme, we'll see...

  3. Hi Liisa, so glad you're back. I do think your flower looks like a rose and one that would suit "Beauty and the Beast". I love the softness of it and the "bells"...just like "Belle". Beautiful work. :-)

  5. Lissa,
It may not be a rose but it has charm and movement - a flower with character. I can hear the bells ringing.
    Blessings,

  8. I love this! Great floral design. And the use of the complementary colors is beautiful. I just did a lesson on color theory and Prismacolor pencils with my students, and I wish I'd been able to show them this picture as is such a perfect example of complementary color :-D

    1. I do like the color very much. I often trend to use too many varying colors but single subject like this sort of keeps me from that habit.

thanks for stopping by. have a lovely day.
